The book THE BADEN-POWELL SCHOOL has the objective of call attention for most important dimension of Scoutism: being the movement founded by the lord Robert Baden-Powell an active pedagogy, insert in the context of educational reforms which pushed different European and American countries during the first decades of 20th Century. It´s presenting a profile of the English General Baden-Powell discussing “The Scout Culture”, debating the “The Scoutism as a Voluntary Association” and making the link of Scoutism with nationalism in Brazil that Jorge Carvalho do Nascimento interprets the Scout movement from 1907 to 1950.
